SKCET is one of the pioneer Institutions to jointly offer an exclusive B.Tech Degree program in Computer Science and Business Systems in partnership with Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. SKCET launched an exclusive M.Tech Computer Science and Engineering (5 Year Integrated) Degree program in Full Stack Engineering powered by Virtusa Corporation. he Institution is actively involved in collaborative funded research projects with Government agencies to a tune of 10.39 crores.It has published 357 patents and 27 patents grants to date. The faculty and students have published 1321 research papers in refereed journals for the last two academic years. The Institution is also accredited by DSIR with SIRO recognition to further facilitate research and development. SKCET has been selected as the nodal center for MHRD Innovation Cell. It is one of the 28 prestigious nodal centers across India chosen by MoE to host the ‘Smart India Hackathon’ for three consecutive times. 8 teams from SKCET have won First prize and 1 Special prize in Smart India Hackathon 2022 (Software and Hardware Edition). Our students have secured internships from Google, JP Morgan, Microsoft, etc. Our Institution is at 23rd in the National level and Second rank in the state level and 1st in the Coimbatore region in the NPTEL certifications ranking during Jan – April 2023 which reveals the academic excellence of its students.SKCET has been identified to mentor 10 non – accredited Institutions in our geographic vicinity to support its goal of accrediting all colleges in India by 2022. In 2023, as a result of customized training based on the career choice of students, 974 students were able to get 1452 job offers in 282 companies including Multinational Core and IT Product based companies with 46 LPA as the highest package with Average Package of 6 LPA.
